Mission Street around the front of the mission to Mission Canyon Road. Continue until Mission Canyon Road dead ends at Foothill Road. Right on Foothill (highway 192), which after 0.8 miles becomes Mission Ridge Road at the second stop sign. After 0.4 miles, follow the route 192 sign and turn left on Mountain Drive. After 0.2 miles, bear right. Another 1.2 miles and you come to a stop sign at El Cielito. Continue across the intersection onto Gibraltar Road. After 0.8 miles you will see a sign on the left for the Monastery. Continue another mile past the Gibraltar Rock climbing area and watch for a pull-outs on the left, where you can park. You will see a white design painted on the rocks on the right that looks like this:
